Topic: Inside Neoclouds & AI Factories: Architecting Kubernetes for GPUs & Extreme Scale
AI factories and neoclouds are redefining large-scale Kubernetes. Clusters with thousands of GPUs and extreme workload churn are now production reality.In this talk, we’ll share first-hand lessons from operating Kubernetes at extreme GPU scale - balancing utilization and tenant isolation, managing bare-metal node lifecycles, designing network isolation, making architectural decisions such as when to use VMs, and running resilient HA control planes for high-performance clusters.This session shares insights gained from working with leading neoclouds such as CoreWeave, Nscale, Corvex, BoostRun, Qumulus, and others, as well as from designing a reference architecture for running vCluster-powered Kubernetes clusters on NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD systems used by some of the largest AI supercomputers in the world.
