We’ve got some news to share. Starting today, Loft Labs is becoming vCluster Labs.

If you’ve been following our journey, this probably won’t come as a big surprise. vCluster is the name most people know us by. It’s what we lead with at events, what our community rallies around, and what most of our work is focused on. Over time, it’s become clear that vCluster isn’t just one of our projects, it’s the brand that defines us.

Why vCluster Labs

This change is about focus and clarity. We’re doubling down on what matters most to our users, contributors, and team. This new name reflects our deep commitment to the success of vCluster and the community around it. We’re all in on vCluster: from open source innovation to enterprise-ready features supporting the largest companies on the planet. By aligning our brand with our flagship project, we’re signaling what matters most, our focus on building the best tooling for Kubernetes tenancy and infrastructure engineering.

Other Projects Continue to Grow

Other projects like vNode will keep their own names and continue to grow. This change doesn’t change any of our projects, it just clears a bit of noise and brings everything under the brand that people already associate with our mission. Nothing changes for our customers and users. You’ll still find the same team, the same energy, and the same drive to build great software, now under a name that better represents our purpose.

We’re excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to keep building with you as vCluster Labs.
